Business owners know they must get ahead of their competitors to get their customers in the holiday mood. That’s because when people are in that mood, they’re going to spend money buying gifts and holiday-related items!
Even though the holidays are several weeks away, some brands have already teased potential customers with their holiday marketing campaign ideas:

1. Burger King
Arguably one of the earliest holiday marketing plan ideas happened back in July from Burger King. They launched a “Christmas in July” campaign that aimed to bring goodwill and cheer to consumers in the midst of difficult times caused by COVID-19.
2. Hallmark TV Channels
The Hallmark TV channels are watched by millions of people each year. Network executives decided to bring some Christmas cheer early to their viewers by releasing 40 all-new movies from October through to December.

3. Coca-Cola
There’s no denying that 2020 has been somewhat miserable for most people due to the Coronavirus pandemic. To cheer everyone up, Coca-Cola has kicked off their holiday marketing campaign by launching a time-limited cinnamon version of its iconic beverage.

4. Home Depot
Home Depot has adapted their approach to the holidays in 2020. Instead of going for a sales event closer to Christmas, they’ve decided to extend their Black Friday deals for almost two months.

5. KFC
Lastly, KFC is another brand starting their holiday marketing plan for 2020 early by relaunching its chicken-scented firelog! It features the aroma of 11 herbs and spices, and will go on sale in Walmart.

Conclusion
The holidays in 2020 are, without a doubt, very different to previous years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The above five brands are starting their holiday marketing campaigns early this year to help lift the spirits up of their customers and inject some joy into an otherwise miserable past few months.
